It is our mission to operate with diversity and inclusion. No biased toward or favoritism shall be shown in the selection of nominees. Industry Partners

This shinny golden achievement award, features a stage door that opens to reveal a poised performer, embodying the spirit of anyone who steps onto a Broadway stage. The stage door opens and closes just like a Broadway show.  The trophy stands 8.5 x 6.5 inches while co-designed and constructed in excellence by R.S. Owens of Chicago, IlL  (the company that constructed: The Oscar® , The Emmy® and The MTV Award).

“The perfection required to manufacture the Oscar® inspires a bold sense of originality in everything we create. Simply being the best isn't good enough; everything we design must be extraordinary.”

NOMINATIONS

The B.E.A. Nominating Committee

Shall remain anonymous but must have appeared in the ensemble of at least one Broadway Musical production and may not serve on the committee for more than 2 consecutive years.

NOMINEE CRITERIA

All nominees must be “on” i.e. performing the day of Nominating Committee’s attendance. If a “swing” is on the day of attendance, that swing will be included in the nomination. Nominees may be of any race ,creed, color, gender, religion, or age.

Education by engaging our youth is a part of our partnership program. While building the Award show event , website, and all things connected to the B.E.A.'s  shall  include the talents of our youth, locally and across the country.  HIgh schools, colleges and universities may participate in the onsite and pre-show aspect of the production. Musical Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Backstage Management and Communications are all candidates for the Broadway Ensemble Education Program. Teaching the youth today will build a strong ensemble for tomorrow.
